Bafunny Bafunny | If comedy was a sport, who would represent South Africa?

Upcoming monster comedy show for fans of South African comedy.  This show will be taking place at small intimate arena’s suitable for Lionel Ritchie and Skouspel.
“Bafunny Bafunny” will also be coming to the UK where they will be at the Royal Albert Hall.  Nice if you can afford it with ticket prices for comedy now starting to reach record prices.  Prices for the South African shows start at R120 and move up to R200 (seriously) and the shows in the UK priced at a conservative £28.00 – £50.00.  Yowzer.

Granted you are getting to see South Africa’s top comics at one of the most amazing venues in the world, but,   That is a lot of cash.  Then again..its a lot of people to fly to the UK.

Funny yes, carbon friendly….er no.
Comedy is a strange thing.  It seems that it costs more to watch it, the less personal and up close it is.  Why go to a club with a capacity of 150 and pay R50-70 when you can pay thrice that and be several hundred feet from them.  I dont get it.  But I do get the acts.  Top South african comics on the bill.  Well worth watching.

If you cannot make the the big tour dates.  Dont forget that you can probably see the majority of these acts at a local club sometime soonish.

ps.  Dave Levinsohn…..start taking your ideas and doing something with them. Your  idea of awarding Springbok colours for comedy years ago should have been followed up on.  It was a great idea.  Silly man.
